At earth, we love spotting opportunities that aren’t obvious. Like our Invest in Cornwall project. While Cornwall is best known as a holiday destination, complete with buckets, spades and scones, beyond its beachy exterior, it is also a region harbouring a tech revolution. It’s a home for innovation and progressive ideas – from Goonhilly, the world’s most advanced satellite Earth station, to Wave Hub, the world’s most advanced marine renewables testing site.
So, when the local Government body, Invest in Cornwall, asked us to communicate that on a wider scale, we were thrilled to get involved. Our aim was to create long-term growth and prosperity, positioning the region as UK pioneers and putting it on the map as a global centre for modern business.
We looked at Cornwall through an economic lens and from a global perspective – and saw a region defined by innovation and the perfect work/life balance. We wanted to help investors realise the appeal of living and working in Cornwall, where businesses are connected by the fastest fibre-optic broadband in the UK.
The results have been astounding. We successfully put Cornwall on the map as the Silicon Valley of Europe and received tremendous feedback.
Earth has become an extension to my team, integrated and accommodating in every way. The work has been so successful that Earth has been appointed by other organisations in Cornwall to commission work. Earth does not hesitate to be ‘in the room’. This has really demonstrated to me how much Earth pride themselves on client relationships and communication
